    Is it something about The Matrix??

  2. Gravatar Icon 2 dipika Feb 11th, 2008 at 11:20 am

    Yes… Matrix was a major inspiration.

    Speaking of Matrix, somebody should make another really inspiring action film soon.

    It won’t be Design Kompany: we’re wrapped up making YouTube short films.

    I can’t help but STARE at that red pill vector. It’s incredibly attractive. I love how you made this logo flow from left to right, it’s very smooth. I also love your overall color scheme.

    Beyond the logo, I’d like to say a couple of things about your blog. I love the fact that it is well organized and I am even more impressed by the load time. I love fast loading blogs!

    Keep up the good work!

    Wow, thanks Ty! People have said nice things, but a compliment on load time is a first. Cheers!

    Great logo. I love how you used multiple typefaces together. I am used to seeing logos of Internet Marketing companies and many time they way fall short of what you did here. I guess SEM companies should turn to a firm like your that knows how to brand their clients.

    We created the ‘pill’ part of the logo by hand, so it’s not exactly a typeface.

    Here are other hand-drawn logos we made:
    Vibrance Nutrition and Fitness
    Spaccarotelli smoked salmon
    Miyabi Japanese restaurant

    I like that you do hand drawn text like that. It really makes the logo unique in a way nothing else could. You create themes that fit the subject well too.

    i love logos with simple ideas. i had made a logo for a company that sells Promotional t-shirts, it is called artpromos.com, i made the logo so simpel that the company owner didnt wanna pay me, cause it was to simple, but at the end he turned out to like the very simple but nice logo

    Yes its very nice, simple, effective. Everything a logo should be!

    What kind of consultant is this for? Is it for an individual or a consulting firm with many employees?

    Would be interested to know and have a better idea how the identity connects to that.

    The flow and use of typography is great!

    Attractive and meaningful. I’m impress here!!
    The solid black background gives emphasis to that RED pill.Nice pick of shade.

    I think it was a clever idea to hang on the red pill to portray the business profile. And the graphical resolution of the concept is in line with the requested image to convey.

    @Jason,

    Thanks!

    @logodesignbrisbane,

    Simple and effective are big goals for us. But getting clear about meaning is the first step, which is why we spend 50% of our time on interviews!

    @BusinessConsultant,

    The logo design was for a consultant. A solopreneur, you could even say. He wanted to create a sense of mystery with the look, hence the name.

    @logogist,

    Hey, thanks! Sometimes red and black are just so classic, it works.
