If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll be familiar with the style of some of the illustrations I put together to accompany posts. Vector images, inspired by sketches for client projects or bad flyers I just want to redo. No shortage of bad flyers out there to spark some juice in the studio back at Kornerhaus.
Whatever the source, the seed of an idea generates itself into a graphic illustration with clean, simple lines of the sort you’ll also find in many of the logo designs in our portfolio. This isn’t a style for everyone, but it works for some of the architects and designers who’ve come to DK in the past for new branding schemes.
I’m planning to collate some of these over the coming weeks to this new Flickr photostream: Wavular.
Design Kompany’s photostream still going
Keep an eye on Design Kompany’s Flickr stream, too. That’s where our summer intern Victor is sharing his photographs from events and inspiring scenes around Seattle. Stay tuned.
