Soon Design Kompany will reveal the new look for the Capitol Hill Arts Walk, dubbed Blitz. This was commissioned by the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce, which is one of our past clients.
Maybe you didn’t know this, but Capitol Hill already has an art walk. It happens on the second Thursday every month.
Audrey McManus, who has been running Capitol Hill Art Walk for the last two years, artist and Chamber member Ellen Forney, and DK’s Akira (who happens to have a degree in Event Management) are working together on organizing the event.
What DK is charged with is refreshing the new look, and adding new energy with the help of a group of volunteers. The big idea? Make the Capitol Hill Art Walk even bigger and better than it already is, a signature event of the Hill. Blitz will include all forms of arts and expand into many neighborhoods within Capitol Hill.
