This logo is part of a new brand identity design we made for the office of Joji Minatogawa Architects, a company based in our very own pocket of Seattle, Capitol Hill.
We worked with JMA on lots of different sketch ideas, settling on strong geometric shapes to create the final drawings.
Now that I think about it, our work predates Pentagram’s redesign for The Atlantic. We just couldn’t share the details until now.
Maybe there’s something afoot in the way of bold, heavy typefaces? Any designers out there have thoughts on this?
