Design Kompany made this brand identity for the Los Angeles-based company Gupta Insurance and Financial Services.
Husband and wife team Ajay and Garima Gupta and Design Kompany instantly hit it off. They liked our straightforward approach, and we liked their authenticity.
Design Kompany always does face-to-face meetings to really get to know our clients, so we flew to California to learn about the insurance biz.
GIFS is a straightforward, no-nonsense business that tells it like it is. The clean, simple look of this logo matches that business personality. Solid. Clear. You know what you can expect.
Trustworthiness and personal connection is a big part of the emotional response we wanted to evoke with this design. So we went with a color palette of warm, earth tones. But the strong vector lines convey solidity, carrying the weight you’d want if you’re talking with someone about money.
We are working on getting these logos printed on GIFS’ stationery, presentation folder and postcard promotion pieces. We will be posting pictures when they come out of the press!

Design Kompany is putting together designs for advertisements to run in newspapers. We’re also creating a brochure for Ajay and Garima to share with future customers.
Watch for a new website to go live soon, too–we’re overseeing the buildout of that and working with a developer Gupta Insurance & Financial Services recommended.
