A movie titled Once is showing at select art theaters this month, and generating quite a buzz. D+A caught it this weekend, and found it quite endearing. The two musicians who play the lead roles are delightfully charming, and the songs pack a great sense of authentic immediacy. An aside for Irish pop culture aficionados; the soundtrack features the legendary Fergus O’Farrell of Interference, one of my favorite contemporary singers from Ireland. -AM
