Design identity: collecting images to convey a mood

One of the projects we’re working on right now is a rebrand for a Capitol Hill building developer. Whenever we do a design identity, we like to bring together what in design lingo is called “a mood board.” This is a collection of clippings that help us visualize and confirm with you what kind of vibe your new brand needs to convey.

This car, plucked from one of our collection of Inc or Economist magazines, is a sample from the mood board we just built for the developer. The design idea? Make it look credible and strong. More about mood boards and the Design Kompany identity design process.
