Quantum mechanics physicist Freeman Dyson will be at Seattle’s Town Hall this evening to tell us why scientists are rebels. Like art and poetry, he says, science resists authority. The Princeton University professor will recount episodes from the history of science, speak on nuclear weapons and disarmament, talk about the differences between science and religion, and relate science and the paranormal.
