A theatre in Queen Anne called On the Boards runs a pretty neat program called 12MM, or “12 minutes max.” You get to see a collection of short pieces–each no more than 12 minutes–of in-progress or experimental art. Hit and miss, but interesting stuff. Dance, theatre. It’s a small space so you can really be a part of it, not like some of the larger and more expensive theatres around town.
The next one will be Dec. 10 and 11 and is curated by actor/director Gabriel Baron and Alexa Folsom-Hill, who is the curator of a Tacoma contemporary dance series called MOVE!.
