The Seattle City Council is hosting a panel Wednesday, January 28 at 2pm on the future of journalism. They’re calling it:
“Is it Curtains for Daily Newspapers in the Culture of Democracy and Citizen Discourse?”
Among the presenters are:
- Crosscut.com publisher David Brewster
- UW communication professors Roger Simpson and Douglas Underwood
- Co-Chair of the Committee for a Two Newspaper Town Anne Bremner
- Beth Hester, programming manager for Seattle Channel
