The “Friday lunch” concept is catching on.
Schemata Workshop, an architectural cooperative, is hosting “a weekly no-host lunch” at a Capitol Hill spot.
Café Stellina, appropriately, is in the beautifully renovated, historic Piston & Ring building on a hip-and-coming 12th Ave. E in Capitol Hill. Grace Kim, of Schemata, puts it thus:
“If you are a young architect (you define what is young and what is architect) working on capitol hill, please join us… to get everyone out of their offices and mingling with other architects…. to inspire each other.”
Schemata Group is a new neighbor to Design Kompany. They moved to their own work-in-progress location on the 12th in April, and have been to a few of our Dream Kitchen co-working events.
Their pre-fab, super-sleek office space (pictured above) is due to be completed in November.
