We have a new member on our team! Alex is a student in Boston, but has already worked as a photographer, made original t-shirts (that sold out!) and designed CD art. We are very excited to have him on board. Alex will be writing a series of reports — here’s his introduction:
My name is Alex Hage. I came to Design Kompany to get experience in print and web design. I come from the Midwest by way of the East Coast, and the Northwest more than anywhere is packed with art, design, and urban culture. I’m looking forward to getting into the Seattle music scene, and exploring the city itself. In terms of design, I like the contrast between simple and complex, clear and cluttered. I like bold colors. I sometimes think of art and design in terms of gender: some designs are more masculine than others, and that can be vital to their purpose.
