How do you explain yourself in 300 words? Well, let’s see…I’ll start with the basics…

I’m 22 years old and I will soon be finishing up my last year at Western Washington University with a BA in Graphic Design, (the 5-year plan is officially a-go..).

I’m a suburban girl though I like to think I’m not. I consider myself a fifty-fifty. Fifty percent of me is the outdoorsey rugged, live in the woods type while the other fifty percent loves city life, crowded streets, and the eclectic vibe Seattle has to offer. Exploring Capitol Hill has quickly become an addiction.

Wow…

…now, In starting to write this, I’m beginning to find that I cannot just have one explanation for myself either. I am finding that there are so many different events and people that can have an influence in my life that it’s always going to be changing. A strong sense of self is important, but it’s also malleable. I like that not all of us can be explained in one solid definition. If any of us could, we’d all be in the dictionary….

…I can say that the extremely addictive and neccessary beverage known as coffee is a miracle, keeping an open mind helps in understanding, and if design and art didn’t exist, I’d probably be a professional eater. Oh, and music is good too. It helps the rhythm of life keep going….
