Last night in town and DK is really, truly mixed about heading out from Seattle town.
When I first got here, I used to go, “Where are the subways? Where are the black people?”
Seattle really is a small town.
Just back from a trip up to Vancouver, BC, though, where I was happy to be a part of true diversity. And hop on all the cool tram stuff they have going on.
Going around seeing places makes me happy.
I love Vancouver for West Coast cosmopolitanism, Paris for Christmas decorations, Cork for the great holiday parties, Seattle for the lovely mountains, and Raleigh-Durham because… it’s home.
Almost there now.
