It’s been three days already but I’m still overwhelmed with this emotion—I’m not sure what it is. Humbled? Honored? Delighted? It’s some combination of these that’s gripped my heart. I’m not talking about the Dodgers vs. Giants game I saw last week in San Francisco (though that was emotional, too!), I’m talking about DK the Movie, which just screened for a small (very small!), group of friends here at DK’s offices on Thursday.
Here are some stills…

There were interns. There were clients. There were scenes of me and Akira—together and separately. What amazes me is how everyone talked about what we do and how we do it in the same way! That means people are saying things about us with voices in unison! That means, hey! That means DK is officially a brand! We did it!
Just be you is what we tell our clients. And phew! Good to know it works in reverse, too.
Notes of thanks
Special thanks to our clients: Anne Hamilton, Tony Case, Chuck Edwards, and Richard Stott. Also to past DK collaborators Angie Tomson and Jace Krause for their cameos and stuff. Also to our intern this summer, Victor Ng, and videographer Patrick Wright—the two of them collaborated to create this 7-minute piece that we are just soooo psyched up to share with you.
Soon.
Oh, goodie. I’m so happy about this.

Congratulations! You deserved it after so much work!
Hey! How is the movie prep coming? I’m excited to see it up on the website!
@Anne,
Thanks for checking in. I’m so excited to see that you’re excited. It makes it like, e^2, or being excited squared.
