A lot of people marvel when we tell them we don’t have a car.
Feet are useful, but so is public transportation.
And speaking of public transportation, two local nonprofits—Allied Arts and Seattle Architecture Foundation—will host a seminar next Monday called “Moving Seattle Forward: A Transportation Vision.”
Might be interesting.
Here’s who’s coming:
Grace Crunican, Director, Seattle DOT,
David Dye, COO, WSDOT,
Joni Earl, CEO, Sound Transit,
Harold Taniguchi, Director, King County DOT,
Charlie Howard, Transportation Planning Director, Puget Sound Regional Council
Mark Hinshaw, FAICP, Director of Urban Design, LMN Architects, panel moderator
Monday, October 20
6 to 8:30pm
Bertha Knight Landes Room
Seattle City Hall
Sponsored by Allied Arts and Seattle Architecture Foundation
