Washington Ensemble Theatre will host its annual fundraiser auction and gala, the “Mad Wet Tea Party,” on Saturday evening. This is a group of people who put on “relevant, immediate theatrical events” and stuff here in Capitol Hill on 19th Avenue. Their small theatre space is adjacent to the coffee shop Fuel, which has those silver chairs inside. I wrote about WET previously when I saw this poster, and a few weeks after that, had the pleasure of meeting the illustrator, Josh Huisenga. –DK
