Design Kompany is working on a couple of really fun new projects.
We even took a secret trip to do some research for one of them.
I alluded to this new project a while ago when I wrote about the books our clients recommended us. One was about the swordfighting strategy of a samurai, the other about managing and leading technology creatives. I’ll be able to tell you more about where we went and what we learned pretty soon.
Also, we just started working on a brand identity and web site design project for an event coming up in Seattle this summer. It’s still early stages, but we are getting to explore a whole different kind of aesthetic for this one.
To give you an idea of what I mean, today I’m planning to work out some comp sketches with watercolor brushes. Oddly, I still have some watercolor paper kicking around in the studio from art school days. –DK
