Great Designers’ Korner session Monday night at Stumbling Monk.
For the first time, we actually talked about design! At least four other creative studios’ people joined us for pints–at this point, we’ve become less of colleagues and more of friends. Topics of discussion: where to go for embossing, grids, javascript vs. actionscript (and whether anyone can code without references), chicken drawings someone uses as a signature, Western Europe vs. the Orient (”I know!, and there’s a hotel that’s completely gold-plated”). Oh, and then everything degenerated into a debate about who’s more badass: pirates or ninjas. The contest: Johnny Depp vs. Rafael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo.
