I went to the arboretum at the University of Washington the other day with the digital minicam. It’s kind of fun to walk around the swampy area up there, and run into other photographers with serious tripods and lenses and other gear. Nice backlighting going on. According to an ecologist friend of ours, by the middle of March the cherry blossoms at the Quad should be in bloom.
