I took this picture on one of my weekend in-city inspiration walkabouts. ‘Offline:’

I think some of you know we like to go places to check out what’s there… Amsterdam to see Droog, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art to see the spatial design of Ă“lafur ElĂasson, the New York graffiti scene, Scandinavian design inspirations of Copenhagen, Venice for La Biennale, and most recently, Boston. Pics from Cambridge and stuff coming soon.
Wonderful to go analog every so often, pause to reflect and further investigate the details of 3D space and the immediate surrounding world. Last week we ran into some graphic artists who’d just come back from Cuba, and this got DK all jazzed to go see what’s in Havana.
Personally, I’m very interested in Trinidad, too. Because they have that awesome chutney music. And people speak Hindi. Going to a country besides India to speak Hindi would be really swell.—DK
