Julian Calendars and Internet Time

The world is set to end in 2012, according to the Mayan calendar. That means the human race/animals and plants have just five more years. A measly half-decade. Now you know. What’s left to do? How far did we get as mankind? Not very. We didn’t think up a way to escape to another planet via some tunnel, nor organized, perfected techniques in translocation via quantum mechanics.

Think about that for a second.

Internet time by SwatchYears ago a friend from Scandinavia introduced me to something called Internet time. Julian calendar days, too. All quite exact. When synching up times for international conference calls, I suggest @Internet time.

You’ll never, ever have to type again cumbersome acronyms like “PST.”
