
Akira cut out a piece of Idea, a bilingual design magazine, to make a cover for a CD mix. Whenever he goes to Japan or Kinokuniya in the International District, he has to buy a bunch of magazines on design “to keep up.”

“It’s eye candy,” he said. “I got it for our design library for inspiration.”
“Oh yeah?”
