Yes! People writing furiously on the Internet want to know if Donuts will survive the viral uproar about the ad with a “kaffiyeh”-looking thing draped around a woman smiling with her cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee…
The Associated Press reported that Dunkin’ Donuts said it pulled an online advertisement featuring Ray — whose star status on the Food Network has turned her into a major brand — after fielding complaints that a fringed black-and-white scarf that she wore in the ad “offers symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism.”
